I live in the south. I have kids who have gone to school here.
The equivalent would be Homework Hijinks. They read from a book in the subject they are assigned to teach and know nothing about and then send the kids home with 6 hours of homework.

No as a matter of fact we do have a Teacher of the Year award and we do have electricity and shoes and indoor plumbing and all those amenities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
