Help on pokemon diamond egg hatching..?

i got an egg from the guy in hearthome city and ive gona 10,000 steps can anyone tell me the exact steps to hatch this egg and wat pokemon it is..

the exact number of steps is or 4500 but im pretty sure it is steps but if you hav a pokemon with magma armor or flame body it will reduce the number of steps by half. The pokemon inside the egg is happiny which will eventually evolve into chansey with happoiness and daytime

steps are steps doesn't matter if you are running or using the bike. The bike is just faster because you get more steps racked in.
The egg is Happiny and takes around 10000 steps or so to hatch. Getting a pokemon with Magma Armor ability will cut down the required steps by half.

oh, when i got the happiny egg, i never had to walk that far; i biked like,4,000 or 5,000 steps. sry.
