I just dont see any reasons, as to why we went over to iraq, after congress and the senate except for a couple, signed a bill of war against terrorism, against the country of Afganistan, in which Bin Laden who the President exclaimed was the man behind 9-11-2001.
i can understand that after we deverted to Iraq, to help clean up what Dad Bush 41 wanted Sadom out, Sadom met hell in 2005, its after his capture i dont see why we are still In the country of iraq at war, other than to load the pockets of the Rich, greedy, and Powerful country's, also how much is our Hog money payouts, to the UK, And all the others who we had to buy to stay on with us to go fight iraq? lets leave in Surges as we came, and devert back to the war we really went at with Afganistan. Should be much more easier if we leave quickly, if al those taliban are over in Iraq, then whose watching their backs in Afganistan, Maybe its time for Rove to slide out, Bush and Chaney try to look smart, Devert out!

From the very first day the Bush administration occupied the Oval Office, the plan was to attack Iraq. Three reasons:
1. The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein ever since Desert Storm, and George W. was selected to be President so that he could 'settle the score';
2. Dick Cheney wanted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so he and his Exxon-Mobil buddies could get richer and richer and richer feeding America's addiction on cheap foreign oil;
3. Ever since World War II, the giant U.S. military-industrial complex (which Eisenhower warned us about) realized how profitable war could be. So all the politicians were bought up, pricey lobbyists were hired, and special interest groups were formed to promote and encourage more 'war'. Thus, we were involved in the Korean Conflict; the Cuban Missile Crisis; the Cold War; Vietnam and Desert Storm so that corporations like McDonnell-Douglass, Lockheed-Martin and Sikorsky could boost their sagging profits - not to mention the two newcomers to the government 'war' trough: the Carlyle Group and Halliburton, both of whom have direct ties to the Bush-Cheney White House!!
From the very beginning this 'war' has been about OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. Nothing else.
If we're really leaving once we bring democracy to Iraq, WHY is the U.S.A. building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the new Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration?
If we really are defending ourselves against 'terrorists' or trying to establish peace in the Middle East, WHY is Halliburton building fourteen (yes - 14!) new permanent U.S. military bases in Iraq??
We will be there for decades - or generations, until we've sucked every drop of OIL from Iraq's sands. When they say it's all in our "national interests", they really mean, "What is all OUR oil doing under all THEIR sand??"
Our government has lied to its citizens, our troops, and the U.S. Congress about the real reasons WHY we're in Iraq - and about the real reasons WHY we'll also invade Iran in the near future. Democrats and Republicans both know it; that's why you see a lot of puffery and posturing, but you see no real action toward ending this immoral, insane war.
If China attacked the U.S.A. for no justifiable reason, we would be outraged! Why don't we recognize that Iraqis feel the same way about the U.S. invading their sovereign nation? No wonder they're upset!
And our troops (not to mention 675,000 Iraqis) are dying so that a handful of American elitists and industrialists can become even more obscenely rich than they already are; this is immoral.
Surely Satan has a special oil-soaked, blood-stained corner of Hell reserved for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld; a;; 535 members of the most arrogant, cowardly, corrupt, Republican-led Congress which turned its back while Bush ran ripshod over our Constitution; and all 535 members of the most arrogant, cowardly, corrupt Democratic-led Congress that promised to end this insipid was and - to date - has done absolutely nothing toward honoring that promise. May God damn them all! -RKO- 08/14/07

This gets so tiring. Okay, Bush took us into Iraq only for oil (which we're secretly running off with in barges) and for their old pals to get rich. WHAT WAS THE REASON ALL THE DEMOCRATS VOTED FOR THE WAR???????? WHY DID JOHN KERRY WANT TO GO INTO IRAQ??? OR JOHN EDWARDS OR BILL CLINTON OR AL GORE OR ANY OF THE OTHERS?
