"Sounds like you are infested... You may have too many to do this but this is how I handle bean beetles. I get a large cup with water and dish soap. (Dawn I heard on the radio kills fleas on contact)They are usually too busy doing the hokkie pokkie to know any better. I put the cup under the leaf and knock them off into the cup of soap water. If it is hokkie pokkie season you will get two at a time. Then I flush them just to make sure they wont be back. You may have to do this every day for a while. Also get yourself a sprayer and use soap water to spray your yard.Jerry Baker has all the ideas in his book that you can use where you use things you usually have in your home. If all else fails I resort to seven dust. hope this helps"

I'm with Moonsorceress, Get a pail of soapy water and start picking. It's a chore, but you will be thankful in the long run because they can strip a plant clean.
Good Luck

Bless your heart!

I'm sorry to say that if it is beetles, there is nothing you can do. One good note, they don't stay long and your leaves will grow back. Keep watering your plants.
