if there was no heaven...

you didnt mention if there was no hell...

so, i will say...HELL!!!

it is amazing how many of what happens when you die questions are here.

here's a tip...

if youre questioning death, what happens after death, worried about dying etc etc etc...

it means one thing: 'YOU HAVE A SH!TTY LIFE'.

it means that if my life is so crappy here...it must mean that i may have a crappy life after. and that freaks the sh!t out of people....the not knowing and the fear of the continuation of their pathetic life.

want a great afterlife? make the most of your life right now, stop thinking about YOUR END because if you do...you're a loser!!!

Nobody really knows about this. But here is something to chew on, my friend:The real question is hidden in this parody. And it is, "Did man descend from early species (Australopithecus), or did God create man from dust and take his rib to form woman. The truth is probably somewhere inbetween.
It is logically a fallacy to argue that there is "one"
"true" god. The proposition presupposes an assumption,
which has and is not substantiated by evidence.
"Faith", as we know it is also untenable. Since it
too is based on several confabulated fallacies. The
same is accurate with respect to agnosticism and
atheism. It's not the case to say, that we do not
know one way or another, but it is also not the case
that we do not know that we do not know. The
ambiguity leaves us in a state of evidence, or the
absence thereof, because we cannot explain the
implacability of the universe, which leads us to
Existentialism Kierkegaard, Freddy Nietzsche(AKA,
hermit, whore monger and syphilitic near-do well),
Sartre, Camus and other agnostics, who wanted to
rationalize their hatred for the Stoics in way form or
fashion they could. Thus, they ruminated around and
hatched one of the most dangerous philosophies on
earth: the idea that man is essentially nothing pitted
against the implacability of the universe. If this is
so, then it also nothing to kill somebody, which as we
all know is nonsense. Rather than admit, that their
philosophy breaks down, they would rather proselytize
verisimilitude's of its vagary upon the world as being
the end all and be all of belief systems. The
evidence of the reality check on it is quite another matter. Religion: if it's organized, then pick your poison.

Nothing. We came from dust and end on dust.
We are part of the circle of life on the micro and macro universe. Do I'm better than a cat, an elephant, a tree or a butterfly? I don't think so.
Remember that the concept of the soul is a religious invention to separate the humans from the rest of the other animals.

Peace to you.

Acording to the ancient Vedas which are the original How Too books that came with the material creation from God. Also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of teh Supreme Soul, named above. What ever ones consciousness is at the time of deat they are sure to attain. (Reincarnation). There are 8400,000 species of life one can take birth in within teh material worlds. There is no guarentee of a human birth. Animals eat sleep mate and deffend as do humans, the only difference is we have the bility to realize our relationship with the creator. Animals are just burning off their karma. If one thinks of their pet at the time of death they will become that animal.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life one will be detached from all material desires and think of God at the time of death then they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy.
For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line. I love Bhakti (our eternal occupation)

Very touchy subject. Personally, I want to be buried in a pine box so that my body can be eaten up and returned to the earth. Maybe my soul will be reincarnated, I think I probably have lived before.
I don't believe in Heaven or Hell. I think that your body just kind of rots in a box, unless you get cremated-which, even though I'm dead-I can't do. I'm afraid of fire. Very irrational fear, I know.

Of the 106 billion people that have ever walked the earth, there's alot of souls out there somewhere....if you believe in that sort of thing.

If men really are from mars and women from venus. I guess we will return to the planets we're from based on our gender.

If theres no heaven, then there'll be lots of spirits lurking about. Your soul will live on with no home to go to. If theres no heaven, theres most likely to be no hell. So this place between heaven and hell will be overcrowded with homeless souls of all sorts.

the soul is made out of brain tissue, without a brain you are without a "self". do you remember before you were born? well thats what it will be like when you are dead. being dead isn't scary or painful or disorienting, it isn't anything at all. life is scarier than death, only in life can you suffer.

According to Christian theology, animals have no souls and therefore no access to heaven. What happens to them after they die?

However you answer that question, you've got an answer to your question.

If would be like going to sleep. But never waking up again.
Sleep is not a terrible thing.
You do not know when you wake up, you just wake up...
So you fall asleep, and die.
No pain, no terror, just darkness.
Your soul would then dissolve into the ground, as electricity.

You have no soul. It will be like it was before you were born - you would not exist. Your physical body would decay and eventually...dust to dust.

So, have a wonderful life!!!
