When ever somebody goes under general anesthesia there is always a risk of death, but the chances of death are low.

the only real risk it that a tubal generally involves being put under. General anethesia can cause respretory distress in some patients. The surgury for a tubal is very simple, but invasive.

you can die from any surgery. the likelyhood of it is truely slim however keep in mind that it is becoming less effective. more and more women who have their tubes tied are getting pregnant. my ob suggested after i had my daughter that i go on the depo shot. he said it is actually more effective than having your tubes tied. but as far as your question the likelyhood of you dying is very slim.

There is always a risk when you have surgery but it is extremely rare especially on something so routine.
But you can die from stupidity. it's Tubes tied.
