if u really can`t get over a break up, u r in in love. ofcourse u r gonna hurt a lot cause they decived u or left u. u feel great around the person when your with them cause u r close to them and u know they love u back. teen love especially hurts cuz its the beggining of the years where your growing up and u know what u want in a partner, and it hurts cuz then they leave u so u loose what u knew u wanted, there 4 u fall in love and can`t let go.so basically your maturing in your teen years.

There is a very simple concept that covers this, and keep in mind that many adults do not outgrow the girth of the principle that I am about to relay to you.
Stupid hurts. When you are stupid you do stupid things which cause things, which would otherwise be merely painful, to be excruciatingly painful.
A physical example would be a male baseball catcher who fails to wear a cup. He gets a baseball to the groin, which would be dulled by a cup and he would be back up in moments, but in this case since he failed to wear one he gets sent to the hospital. Next time he plays he will likely be less stupid. Bare in mind that he does not quit, and he does not blame his injury on the sport of baseball or even baseballs.
Identical things could be said about teen love. Teens start off with a natural state of 'stupid' varying in intensity. This applies to 99.99% of teenagers, so try not to feel alone in your pain as pretty much all of your friends will or have experienced the same pain in some way. Teenagers in love are a lot like the catcher I mentioned, and as they get 'racked' hopefully they will learn their lessons instead of becoming bitter.

Because it's a brand new feeling. It's makes you ready for tougher times ahead. Yeah sure you feel like floating but you gonna feel like floating when you are married and your spouse steps out on you? Ok same thing. Its an awareness that you are capiable of love but its preparing you for bad love ahead ..I know been there lots of times when I was a teen.

It hurts so much because you are not protective of your heart yet. You give it freely and totally, you still believe in the fairy tales of finding your prince charming and living happy ever after. I for one believe when you fall in love the first time you will never love so totally again because after the heartbreak of your first love you will protect parts of yourself you will never share again. That is just life you might be hurt by love again but never like this don't worry over it just learn from it. It is kinda like swimming when you are young you want to jump in because it looks so fun and easy but then you go under and have to be rescued. The next time you might need to wade in cautiously but you will find love again. I am sure you know love at any age is a hard relationship to maintain none of them are happy ever after those are just for the fairy tales and movies. Don't let anyone take away from the way you feel because they are not the steward of your heart you are and that goes for the one causing you so much pain to, he may not deserve you.

It's a normal human emotion. When things are going fine in life, work or a relationship the world is your oyster but when things go bad you wish you could crawl into a box and cry.One day WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT you will find the one person who will celebrate the good times with you and comfort you when things go bad and you will do the same for that person. But you may have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince.

If it's any consolation for you, it hurts even worse the older you get. Most teens just haven't experienced it enough to know the real feelings of love (both good and bad).

All love does that.
And I find that all the good in my realtionships seem to outweigh the bad, but still somehow I end up broken hearted.
I feel for you!! - I'm going through the same pain right now.

Ever heard that song "The First Cut is The Deepest" by Cat Stevens? It's like that. You can get used to anything, but there will never be anything quite as powerful as the first time you experience something new. namely, heartache.
