Great, but the damage has been done. Rove is a genius when it comes to propoganda.

The rest of Bush's administration will either be boring and a lame duck (just like his first 8 months) or he will do what he can to stay in power

Despite the news quotes about him wanting to spend time with his family. I believe he is leaving Washington DC to nullify the Dems congressional inquiries and he will begin working behind the scenes for the Rep party's 2008 election strategy.
I believe he is a brilliant man and one of the most dangerous people in the US. He truly believes that the US Constitution is irrelevant, merely an distracting annoyance that he will continuously strive to subvert for his own doctrine of superiority over the common citizen.

I believe the man has had all he can take of fighting against the political corporation that masquerades as Washington DC. As most of the top level staff & closest advisors to President Bush were with him in Texas, they probably all had a very rude awakening to what DC was about. He's worked hard & given his loyalty to a man & friend that he believes in. When we are all done with our jobs/careers, we should be lucky enough to say that we gave our all & did our best but most of us can't or won't.

Being the brilliant man he is, my first thought was he knows Bush's popularity is sinking, and he don't wanna go down with him! He's served his purpose and does deserve to step down. Sounds like he is still to be questioned however, over the firings at the White House?
