Did someone cheat on you or something?
We all commit some sort of sin for pleasure. You just have to be careful of what you are doing so you are not harming somebody else in the process.

What if that personal happiness is for the common good? If you mean personal happiness that delineates from moral uprightness then you can commit sin. I believe that some person commit sin because they cannot hold on to their mortal grounds. Or they simply want to satisfy their needs no matter what the costs and whatever means they are going to use to fulfill that satisfaction.

Maybe we do not beleive in "GOD", and don't follow your "rules" as to what is a sin and what isn't. I follow the basic rules of doing what I feel is right for myself, treat others with respect and be honest. I have commited "sins", because if someone doesn't show me respect I won't show it to them. To some, personal gain is a priority.

We are all sinners, according to the Bible. Nobody is perfect. However, it is wrong to do something that hurts someone else. People sin in all kinds of ways in order to attain their own personal happiness. It all comes down to a matter of degrees of sin. Best to try and avoid the "Big 10".

If you yourself are completely, utterly, and absolutely without sins in your own life, feel welcome to pass judgment on others.
Otherwise, understand that they commit a sin that's easy for you personally to skip over, but they might have an easy time ignoring the sins you struggle with and keep committing.

You know, we are human, and sometimes we sin. It is wrong and sad but we have our agency and sometimes don't use it correctly. But we have the atonement, and if a person sins, then they can repent and stand up and try again. You just have to keep trying.

I assume your talking about cheating. People aren't perfect every relationship is different. I think it's great that you have the right attitude. Maybe you should focus on finding someone more like yourself, rather than focusing on the negative.

Maybe they are not happy with their 'personal happiness' and know of no other way to fulfull themselves. Is this a religious question? Arent you judging others instead of accepting others as they are?

humans are by nature sinful creatures. as ST PAUL wrote that which i would not do i do and that which i would do i do not. in other words we struggle against our sinful nature all our life. it is only thru the aid of the HOLY SPIRIT that we can shed our sinful ways.

We all sin. We all should do onto others what we would have done to us. But as imperfect humans it happens. If you have a relationship with GOD, build on that. Forgive who hurt you and move on.
