When they recieve the money i know (think) through a credit card they pay, but what about a bank account? They always pay?

buyer sends money (any type of payment credit card anything.) say £8 paypal fee is £0.30 + 1.7% trans value, and it takes that money from the person who recieves the money automatically

No. A uncomplicated pay-for-something off ebay will have not have been given any paypal fee for the client (you). the agency will pay a cost for accepting the money. i'm an prolonged-time ebay shopper/agency with 1000's of paypal transactions.

Whenever you send money to someone using Paypal, the person *receiving* the money will lose some of it to pay for the Paypal transaction fee. See Paypal for their fee schedule.

It's easiest just to use your pay pal money for another purchase. That way you don't incurr any fees.
