We use come to indicate a movement toward us and go to indicate movement away from us.

Both involve ideas of travellling. Take two simple expressions "Come home" and " Go home ".
"Come home" implies that the speaker is there already and wants someone to join them there. "Go home" implies that the speaker is elsewhere and does not want the person's company, oe feels that they should be at home - maybe they are too young to be out, or whatever. Hope this helps.
