My friend says that on IMVU, if u r logged in then on almost every page, there is a link that u click on and u will get free credits. And no it's not the new products link, it's something else. Please help me fidn out what this is because my friend just won't tell me and my other friends.

Because your friend is pulling your leg. Occasionally a ad will pop-up for a IMVU credit gambler, but I'm not sure I would trust those because the are not official IMVU locations. I haven't seen one in ages, so I think IMVU caught on to them and blocked them.
There is a tutorial where you can earn about 500(?) credits and a few items. Check your homepage for messages from IMVU with links in them. The emails will offer to explain something to you. If you have an active homepage, those links are gone now, and no one can share those tutorial links because each one is different.
There are really only four ways to earn credits.
1. Get someone to give credits to you.
2. You can earn up to 50 credits a day by visiting the new product page.
3. Become a developer.
4. Buy them.
That's it. There are no cheat codes or secrets to getting credits in IMVU. Remember, IMVU is not a game, its a chat program.
