lingerie so that i have something to give back to him when he gets home. lol and i want to have a nice locket from him with our pictures inside. lol

it depends how well you know the person and what their relationship is with you
you don't give your mom, or a girl you just met lengerie
flowers can cost a lot, so you should have a decent relationship with the person
chocolate is pretty safe, along with one of those stupid looking bears
if you can afford it, jewlery is pretty good
DON'T show up and say that your gift is your love for her. I tried it, it didn't work out too well.
Dinner at a nice place is cool too, but you also need something else to give if you do that.
Now how about those ten points?

I like flowers but think they are a bit of a waste of money. They die so quickly. Chocolate is a girl's best friend.
Lingerie can be fun. Jewelry is also a girl's best friend.

You mean "chocolate" or "lingerie." I enjoy getting flowers & a card, or flowers, card, & a great dinner at Carrabbas. The past two years, I've gotten flowers, card, & a dinner out. Oh, I almost forgot the "kiss." <3

Something else, that stands out to what your lover is, likes, admires, dreams, what ever as long as it shows you went those extra steps and thought of the person for who you do this for even if only a homemade card with things this persons enjoys, committing to try to take time to enjoy and plan to do some of these things together.....Mary

write a beautiful poem that comes from your heart. Make a bubble bath with candles all around and soft music in the background and in the bedroom candles and flower petals all over the bed and floor. I think that would be romantic also, take your time in the bedroom, stroke and caress and tell him or her how much you love them.

A romantic evening dinner is great, and you don't Valentine's Day to do these things. I believe that as long as you love each other, you can give eachother the treatements almost everyday of the year.
