First off Paul Revere and the Raiders were American. The others that you listed have all had success in Canada... but I'd say the Kinks. When I listen to them now, I can hear that they were a little more punky sounding with a bit of an edge to their music. My favorite song by the Kinks is All Day and All of the Night. ( I was a huge huge Animals fan btw).
