Yes. A Christian couple who showed much kindness to me when I really needed it. I haven't seen nor heard from them
in over 35 years, but they are always ready to show up in my imagination and they still have a strong impact on my way
of life, to this day. I try to live the Christian way of life that they showed me, by their example.

Yeah I actually did. I have a guy friend and he drinks nothing but water, no alcohol ever. He runs every other morning. Played soccer in high school. He does not let other people influence his life. He calls his parents by their first names. He brushes his teeth twice a day and flosses every day. He bakes cakes and brownies.
I look up to him and admire him and wish I was half the person he was. I have made small changes in my life, like the drinking water all day and... I only drink soda when I have dinner. I know those are small changes but they made a differences in my life.

A friend who holds himself to a high morality standard without being religious. What made him really impact my life was the fact that he knew more about all religion than most pastors, ministers, clerics, and rabbis about all religions. Including history, faith, and intelligent arguments for and against every major religion, yet he never took sides. He inspired me to learn about religion.
Also, a teacher in high-school taught me the importance of free-speech and the importance of personal restraint (though I don't always use it).

Yes, an unlikely friend who has encouraged me to pursue a more civil path in life, away from war and is responsible for me owning an awesome life changing dog. My attitude toward life is largely influenced by our friendship and support of one another- though it's over the internet mostly.

Yes I have - and I love them dearly. They have opened doors for me and believed in me. They have helped me to see myself in a different light. There is nothing romantic about the relationships, but I don't know what I would do without either one of them. They are the 2 best guys around. Pax - C

Yes. A man that made me discover my ideal career and what one should be in any. Although, I'm not in it for so many personal reasons... I have continued to keep him as a beacon of one proper way to live professionally and personally...
May this great architect/man's memory never fade in spirit...
I will remember. I'm sure others will as well... yet, even if his name is forgotten his noble ideals will live forever.

Yes, I have. My former English teacher, Mr Janssen, was a remarkable man who tragically died last February. If I hadn't met him, I wouldn't study English and history now. He is my greatest mentor, and will always be.

yes, "me", strange story though!
after beginning to have lucid dreams, I used to just observe the dream world, I wouldn't interfere with any of my dream characters, I'd just sit and watch, see what they got up to. then after this I started trying to control them, but to no effect, they carried on with their little routines, but it was one dream I decided not to control, but to become the characters. instantly I was walking around in third person view, doing the most rediculous things, stretching their fingers, throwing them fourty feet in the air. After getting a little bored of dishing out a bit of punishment to the poor defencless little man I began to interact with the others using his now tattered and torn body, the people surprisingly had strange reactions when I approached, almost feelings of sympathy towards the battered man. This got me thinking, if theese people are part of my dream world they should know whats going on, I gave out to the old man I was now talking to for trying to deceive me, with that he just smiled and sat me ( or him ) on a bench, he began talking to me, but I demanded to know who he was, to which he replied "I'm you", of course at this point It all started to make sense, I was having a coversation with my sub-consious!!!! I asked him about any problems that came to mind that happened in my life, to which he never offered solutions, but only why I acted the way I did and how it effects me. I've only had three successful attempts at contacting my sub-consious in lucid dreaming, and each time I learned a great deal about myself!
