Peroxide! The dollar store kind will do. Just put a drop on the spot only let it sit for and hour or so, rinse with cold water. Blot it dry with a towel and repeat it several times it will eventually take it out. I've done this on sheets, shirts, jeans, undergarments etc. & it works very well. It will also take out red wine stains.

Hydrogen Peroxide will take out the stain, but it may also bleach the comforter (if there's any color in it). You may want to try some Oxyclean first, or HEAVILY dilute the peroxide with soapy water.
A mix of water, peroxide, baking soda, and a spritz of dish soap will take out any stain or smell, and is less likely to damage the color of the fabric.

Did you try soaking the article in cold water with salt first? Try using 'Vanish' or Stain Devils have a blood and stain remover that should do the trick for you. Hope this helps! Good luck!

You can get the hydroxy clean in the powder form and mix with water and make a paste out of it. Put the paste on the stain...let it sit and then wash and it should come out.

If you washed it in hot or warm water and dried it in the dryer it might be to late. Try dabbing liquid detergent (liberally) on the stain and soaking it in cold water overnite. For future reference, always use cold water to get rid of a blood stain, never warm or hot water, and if it is dried blood, let it soak for awhile. After you wash it, make sure the stain is gone before drying it, and if its not, try soaking it longer.

merely cleansing soap/detergent with chilly water. do no longer use warm water - notwithstanding it is going to get rid of many of the stain, the nice and cozy water will make what would not dissolve an everlasting stain. If it is white, use bleach, in case you have any (soak the stain in bleach for an hour or so). i would not attempt the vinegar - i do no longer be attentive to what the acid will do to the textile.

get some liquid detergent and put it on the stain and rub the comforter together where it is, then you should be able to wash it, but if that doesnt work use some peroxide.

you can use either peroxide or windex. But it has to be actual Windex no other brand seems to work. I have used it many of times to get blood out of clothes. Just spray it on then wash as normal,
