Hi, I have a 10 gallon tank and a 5 gallon tank. i use the 5 gallon when one of my fish is about to lay eggs. my cherry barb just layed some eggs in the 5 gallon and I put the male and the female together but the male keeps chasing the female ( the female layed a lot of eggs and i think she's done). Do I need to get them both back into the 10 gallon tank and separate them from the eggs? thx.

Yes, you need to remove them from the tank asap. They will eat any eggs or young that they can find.

Cherry barbs are a really fun fish to breed, if you need any further help with them feel free to email me.
