It doesn't matter though when under the counter jobs can be gotten easily, I know of 2 places hiring right now that pay under the counter, and I live in Michigan which isn't exactly on the border to Mexico. I imagine its much worse in southern states where illegal immigrants happily work for under minimum wage, and employers happily pay jack $h!t wages for the same amount of work.

My proposal on taxxing illegals is to remove income tax and property tax and base the entire tax-economy on sales tax. that way anytime you buy anything in the U.S. regardless of your status here, you pay tax. However for the legal citizens this would mean you no longer have to deal with income tax property tax (I would like to keep it where citizen's taxxes remain relatively the same)
