In /slanted rectangle/ABCD, AE =7x - 1, and EC = 5x + 5
what kind of parallelogram is ABCD? Explain plz

AE=7x-1
EC=5x+5
---------------
ABCD=12x+4

No can do unless you tell me what and where the point E is.
If E is the midpoint of the diagonal AC, then AE = EC and so x = 3. Thus AC = 40. But that tells us nothing. The parallelogram could still be a square, a rectangle, a rhombus, or a plain old parallelogram.
