first off, it's not your average boring cardboard sign written with black sharpie saying "garage sale..(address)"
It's neon colored signed with paint and borders made of yard/string/buttons/glitter/ fabrics/spray pain/
and we are putting up like 6 around my neighborhood..
so far i put "HUGE garage sale
(address&DATE)
everything for sale, cheap, new and exiting! "
haha so corny. ^6.6>..
any new idea?? ? ?

Is there a big piece that you're selling or a collection of something? You should probably list some of the types of things your selling, then people looking for specific things should waste their time or not!

Call it the Topless Garage Sale.
Then have a bunch of middle aged men stand around with their shirts off.
That will bring in the big spenders. KA -CHING!!!

I think that should do it. The thing usually missing from the sign is the date. When I see one, I'm never sure when the sale is taking place.

If you have any hunting or fishing equip. for you sale that will attract an outstanding number of people. Especially if you are advertizing in the local paper.

Add FREE DRINKS (whatever it may be) for every Purchase of number of items or amount and a BONUS OF FREE KISS FOR EVERY OF...???...OR ANY ADD *"ONS"*... Something to be different from the OTHER ORDINARY GARAGE SALES!!!

I saw one recently that said "USELESS CRAP SALE" - i laughed so hard that I actually HAD to drive by to see what they had!!

put 'ESTATE SALE' instead of garage sale, estate sales have all the good stuff.
