There are already enough laws to protect us; we don't need any new ones right now.

States should have more power to regulate their own laws. I do however agree with many federal laws. The power should be in the states hands where it can cater to said individuals of that state.

Every state has specific needs/wants and should be applicable in that sense. I am also for a smaller government.

Laws without enforcement are useless. When congress passes a law, any law, the authors should be forced to say how the requirements of the new law will be funded.

Less federalism. It didn't begin with Bush,by the way. Increasing levels of federal power has been a constant with all presidents from Johnson on.

we have so many laws that are intended to protect us but are not enforced by the monolithic superstructure of socialist government that we currently have, and still the socialists want even more laws and yet bigger government.

example: the socialists including bush who want MORE immigration laws, yet the ones we already have are STRICTER than the cumbersome loopholed laws they want to pass. They just refuse to ENFORCE the stricter laws of today.
