No because not everyone looks good in pink. A nice neutral shade of teal would be nice and it wouldn't clash so much with your eye makeup and fingernail polish.

The suits are already a bright shade of neon orange for greater visibility in case of emergency. If you could prove that neon pink was more visible, yet not so annoying that it hampered safety on other levels, then maybe you could convince NASA to change the color.

As commercial space travel becomes more popular, you may be able to order customized suits. Why not pink?

Think about it. Pink against a black background? Just doesn't do it for me. Perhaps a nice shade of light blue?

Science isn't a fashion statement.

You can claim it's easier to spot, maybe. Of course, any bright color is easy to spot against the pitch black of hard vacuum. Maybe rainbow-colored suits?

Pink is for romantic.
Space exploration is not always romantic.
STS 118 had a problem of damaged tiles. It is a life or death
business.

it depends on your reasoning, like he said, if its for some saftey or technical reason then yes its a good idea. but if its cuz u like the color pink...well thats not very reasonable, the hubble telescope doesnt care about fashion.

Well, Russian cosmonauts have orange suits. It would certainly help us find them if they were out at sea or something.
