It a fraudulent email.

You shouldn't open unsolicted email from unknown sources. Often what happens is that when you open up spam, it sends back a trigger to the originating source indicating that a valid email address has been found thus subjecting you to even more spam down the road. Even using the preview pane in email products sends web beacons back to spammers.( http://helpdesk.gwu.edu/mailfilter/spam.html )

However, in this case since you have already opened up this email which is a probably a variant of the 419 Nigerian phishing scheme, display all headers and send it to Fraud Watch International. The email address is in the link to the webpage below.

There are a couple Yahoo pages dedicated to the 419 Fraud

Definitely a scam .... you should not open emails like this otherwise they will keep going. I won $2,000,000-00 according to them a couple of years ago. I still get them from other Countries but .... before opening them on email .... just have a look at the subject ... Let's face it ... if you haven't bought tickets from that country it's a SCAM. So don't open it ... just delete. Once you open they know that you are there. Take care ... sorry about your lost millions .... but get rid of them don't open. Wow ... I've just been reading all the other answers ... Is it true that you people in the States and the UK have to pay Taxes on your winnings .... woooooo ..... we don't in New Zealand ... it's completely Tax Free.

You can't because it's a scam. Legit lotteries don't charge you to collect your winnings. Also legit lotteries don't email you. It's spam.

I hope you didn't click any links in that email because you may also have gotten malware from the fraud site. Better update & run all your security stuff--anti-virus & anti-spyware
.

Be careful! If you get an email saying that you have won a lottery, it is probably a scam.

you dont because you dont even reply to these mailings they are scams designed to draw personal info from you, just by opening up this mail they know that your email address is active and you will get even more rubbish sent to you.If something is too good to be true and you have'nt entered an online lottery then it's fake, just ignore and delete.

I would stay well clear as its almost certainly spam and a scam. You stand to loose more money than them and you wont receive a penny back out of them, if you reply the sender will sell your details to other scammers and they will target you. Its all a viscous circle
