I was wondering if it is possible to do a Microsoft delete key function on a Mac. I know that the delete key is the same as BKSpace on Microsoft. Is there a function key you can use to do a BKSpace going the other way like a delete key does on a PC?

Highlighting is the key. You can double click a word with the text tool, and the word is highlighted; or click-drag.

In 20 years of computer use, I've never once had to "delete-forward," one or two letters. Removing whole words, or blocks of text is more the norm anyway.

Macs are not that advanced yet, sorry.
