Favourite Animal and Why?

My one is the Lion because of it's beauty and strength as well as it's pride.

I have a couple.....

A dog because of it's loyalty, love, and ability to play. Great for helping too when the time comes such as sled dog or hunting dog.

Camels are my next choice because they are very fun to be around. They are so playful and kind hearted. You can teach them tricks too. They are funny to watch with their actions and you can ride them. Plus they don't get spooked as easy as a horse does. It's a must have animal if you live in the middle east but I live in the US so unfortunately I can't own one...

Dolphins... These sea creatures are so smart! They work so well with humans and are very kind hearted and playful. They also are known to take out sharks which is very cool to me since sharks are the most feared sea creature.

Then I guess my last choice would be a Cat, These animals are great to have if you live on a farm or something and need to keep other animals at bay. You can even train them to work with dogs(I have). They are somewhat playful but require their own space. Kind of like women at times.....

My favourite animal would have to be a bird as:
1) They come in a diverse range of colours and all shapes and sizes
2) Most are so graceful when flying free in the sky
3) They have some interesting behaviours

Sea Eagle ( Osprey ) and Hummingbird

The Manatee or Sea Cow!

Huge great big lumbering creatures - very often scarred by the engines of the speed boats using the waters that they have lived in forever.

Nothing pretty about them at all.
Untill you see their faces!

And they look as though they are smiling!

Plus - for all their size, they are a peaceloving creature - another on that mankind is persecuting.
Isn't it sad?

But I also go along with your lions - they are just magnificent!

I love all animals. Not too sure that I have a favorite. But I've grown quite fond of the felines now that I have one. I've had my cat since he was old enough to be away from his mother, he just turned 5 in the end of June. He's my baby. I love him to death. He is always there for me. I find cats to be very affectionate animals. Dogs as well, but mostly cats. Good question.

The tallest animal in the world...(drum roll)... the GIRAFFE!!! What could you hate about an animal so tall and its spots are very unique... although lions are a magnificent animal (especially the male because of its mane)...

i dont have a favorite animal i have to many animals 65 to 80 horses 2 dogs and 1 cat a wild mountain lion in our trees

Cats... Panthers in particular. For their beauty, strength and Independence.

Have to say dogs and cats cause I've got the most personal history with them. Cats might edge out due to having two.
Other than that I might go for Elephants, they seem to have awesome herd relationships.

i agree, i also like the lion..
but my favorite would have to be a white tiger.. the female tiger represents beauty, strength, and power, all the while the softness when it comes to her cubs.

Cats because i heard stories they save lives, and they comfort you when u feel ill, like one time i was sick, and i woke up, and my cat was laying right by me, i thought it was the cutest thing ever! And becuase they're cute, and they dont answer u back, or get on ur nerves like a person would. =] and they make u happy, and they will always love u no matter what.
