I think we fund both sides of this war with our continued dependency on Arab oil. We need to establish stricter standards for fuel efficiency of vehicles sold in the US. If the US car companies can't compete, they die. If Asian car companies can do it, why can't we? We need national emphasis on alternative forms of energy now. There's only so much oil; if we don't get off it, it will be our doom (remember England and coal?). On a little different tangent - if Arab countries didn't have our money from oil sales, they couldn't fund those terrorists to come over here to blow us up.
