Yes, it's been done by Greg Harris and Tony Mullane.

Yes, it is allowed, but no team encourages it. When Harris was with Boston, then-GM Lou Gorman (still don't miss ya, Stupid Lou!) refused to allow Harris the opportunity for fear of making a mockery of the game.
Like Harris switch-pitching would have been sillier than Bagwell for Andersen....

It not only should be allowed, perhap they should obligate pitchers to pitch at whatever side the batters do. It would be great and add a bunch more strategy to the game.

there has by no skill been a change pitcher yet a pair issues have been close. jim abbot used to pitch in the majors and he grew to become into born with in basic terms one hand. he positioned the pocket of a glove on his nub and as quickly as he pitched he slid his throwing hand into the glove. additionally, I certainly have heard that carlos zambrano, the cubs ace, who's good exceeded, can throw a ball from rapidly away center left exceeded. he can throw with the two hands yet by no skill pitched a interest that way

There is a guy in college now (Pat Venditte who plays for Creighton) who is a switch pitcher, but it is very rare, and currently there are none at the major league level.

im pretty sure it is, but you could not just switch whenever you wanted it would be like inbetween batters, not during if it is allowed. the problem with that is that its so hard to perfect pitching with one side, they practice to be so good with one arm, it would be very strenuous to pitch both sides and be good at it.
