I actually think she has too much of a "mind of her own"....I do not want the spouse, (husband or wife) of the person running our nation, to have too much input. We elect the person, not his/her family. The spouse sometimes has more influence than the vice president, what is wrong with that picture? Everything. The family thing should be just that, a family matter, concerning family issues.....the spousal influence in the White House should stop when the doors of the Oval office close!

Yes, because Laura Bush is always telling us what a jackass George is.
Did it ever occur to you that maybe she actually agrees with her husband's positions?

When you are campaigning for someone for any office-you are supposed to be 100% behind their positions. It is as it should be-she supports his positions so when she speaks it should be as if it is him speaking.

Youre right, she should be out contradicting him since he's running for President.
That makes sense.

Except she is not campaigning for herself (or the other woman of the world) she is campaigning for him. As such she should state his positions. In this case, hers don't matter, she is not the candidate.
