Has anyone every stayed at this Hotel (not sure if I would call it a resort)?? I'm doing my wedding through Royal Caribbean cruise lines and chose St. Thomas for the wedding location, and this is where they do it. I have read some horrible reviews about this place, but Royal Romance assures me that this is "a beautiful property". Someone PLEASE give me an honest review.

I can see Bolongo out my office window and eat lunch there a lot......they do A LOT of weddings there so they have it down pat; the beach is great, there's surf rolling in......

now, there is ALWAYS a lot of breeze blowing 10-15 mph is not uncommon so you should be prepared for all of that...viels blowing, hair flapping..and the sand is soft on the beach, so heels aren't going to make it.....

now I love Bolongo, but it isn't what you would call glitzy..it's authentic Caribbean; 40 years old and a little worn about the edges.........a place Jimmy Buffett would have stayed BEFORE he got rich and famous.......if you want glitz and glamour and gleaming marble floors , better go to Sugar Bay or Frenchmans Reef or the Wyndham on St John.......

Congratulations!

Don't worry, the Royal Caribbean cruise lines would not steer you wrong. St Thomas has some of the best beaches. It's a beautiful island with amazing water colors.

Enjoy yourself and stop worrying.
