The other day I was telling some people at work how bad my wife has been acting latley. She's been bitchy and has a horrible attitude and cusses and hates everything i do. So one of the other married women said "my husband would take me over his knee and bust my butt good if I acted like that" I was taken aback. I asked if she was serious and not like a sexual thing and she said yeah! I should do the same to my wife. Another younger girl said her boyfriend spanks her bare bottom whenever she acts up. I thought this was abuse? They both recommended it. The one woman even said that her husband uses her hairbrush on her butt occasionally. Is wife spanking really that popular and does it work?

Only if she likes it.....Daddy always says he's going to spank me when I act bratty, but then again I just like it. So is it really punishment? Its a sexual thing between consenting adults as a way to escape being adults. This only works when everyone is in a playful mood. This doesn't work when there are serious adult issues that need to be dealt with. Then again some men like to live this way as do some woman...but then again these women don't have a lot of responsibilities either and what the man says goes. He is also very trust worthy and kind. Its takes a special couple to make this type of lifestyle work.

I'm a spanked wife ( consensually ) and I crave it. Not to an abusive point but to a ' settling me down' and submissive point. He spanks me for fun to but when I'm disrespectful to him or really out of sorts a truly puts me back into a better frame of mind and we both feel settled and even more in love afterwards. But I think you should speak to your wife and find out if it's something she might like to settle her or just do it spontaneously one time for a quick over the knee a couple of wacks see how she responds if she is furious it may not be the right thing however you might be surprised she might feel like it's just I think she's wanted and needed. In a non-sexual way? What are they trying to do - pretend they're her father and punish her? Ooohhh - let me tell you one thing, if a man EVER tried to pull that crap with me, there would be blood in his urine for a week, at least.
Sexual spanking is another story - but FRIGGING DISCIPLINING YOUR WIFE LIKE SHE IS A CHILD OR AN ANIMAL is SICK.
That is totally just another form of domestic abuse - hitting anyone as a form of punishment or correction is FU*CKING WRONG!

I am shocked at the story and really hope that you are joking or that the other married women were joking.
No, I would not allow my husband to spank me unless it was a bit of sexual fun.
I am his wife, his partner...his equal! I am not his child and would consider spanking as punishment to be drgrading and I would file for divorce so fast he wouldn't have time to say "Alimony and Child Support"!

The people that told you about spanking your wife might
be setting you up but in some religions they do spank their wives. But not here in America as far as I know.

No it's not proper, but you already know that or you wouldn't have been shocked to hear these women. They were probably pulling your leg. They think your going to go home and lay down the law and spank her and then get the crap kicked out of you by her for hitting her, or the cops called on your for domestic violence. Your right it is abuse. Just because your wife has been getting upset lately doesn't mean she needs a "Whoopin". Do it the old fashion way and talk to her. I mean come that's ya wife. If I was to get married I wish my husband would think about whoopin me. You do that to kids! If you were going to give her a "Whoopin" that's a sexual thing. I have always heard of this as abuse, unless it is a sexual thing. I dont know, maybe some girls get pleasure out of it. I would hit my husband back if he spanked me that way!
