Too early think about that. Mahela is going well and he would captain the team another 5 years or so if he can continue this form. After Mahela, best person for the captaincy is Kumar Sangakkara. But both are in same age and both will retire same time. Therefore I don’t think that Sangakkra will get a opportunity captain the Sri Lanka.

Dont think it was the media pressure.. Its not associated with Sri Lankan media that bashing cricketers,, they save that for BCCSL members and some politicians.. Players are criticized sometimes but they're used to it I guess.. Cant say it was the pressure from fans either.. They were obviously disappointed,, even heard couple of guys committed suicide,, but by now people have forgotten the lost and they get along with their daily lives.. No doubt Mahela is a honorable man and very well respected.. With him and Sangakkara being in the dressing room I see no politics there.. Talented people will earn respect and one of those talented guys is Angelo Mathews and he should've been given the T20 captaincy in the first place.. So I'd say,, whatever the reason behind his resignation,, he took the correct decision in the end..

Since Mahela Jayawardene is doing a good job as Captain, he will not be replaced in the immediate future. However, if Sri Lanka are changing the captain Kumar Sangakkara will be ideal choice to replace Jayawardene

I think Mahela Jayawardana is resign in2015 .And Kumar sangakkara too.Next best younghers can get captaincy is Farweez Maharooof and Upul Tharanga,55%Farweez Maharoof can get captiancy after.Mahela
