I must say Yes.. Very disappointed. The bad part is how fast it culminated. The last 4 or 5 chapters just buzzed by. I would have enjoyed seeing some more. many thing went the way I thought they would. Some I was very disappointed in. I don't agree with your thought of 1 year later. 19 was too long, but, that's up to her. I think personally, another book was definitely needed. i would have rather seen Harry running Hogwarts. that's just me. many things could have been added.

I agree about the 'camping trip'... and how it was such a long book for the little bits that it covered. I mean, there was only a few horcruxes he needed to find, and he knew what two of them were. I found myself about page 500 or so thinking, this is almost over and he hasn't even found one yet... yes, there were some things she could have done differently, but overall, it covered what it needed to, and tied up the ends. I just think it could have been done in about 200 less pages. There also weren't as many twists as there normally is... kind of disappointing. Like what was the deal with the tiara of ron's aunts... she makes you think that she was intending on it being one of the horcruxes, but then she changed her mind half way thru and decided it would be easier to put it in Hogwarts so he didn't have to make another trip. Who knows. But, i liked it. It's like she said, either you'll love it or you'll hate it. i'm kinda in the middle. it was the end to a great ride. I guess you don't expect the last 10 seconds of a roller coaster ride to be the best, but hey. :P

It had to end somehow. JK had to try and tie together all the broken plot lines created over the years and rumors she created about the last book. What did you expect - I thought everyone would see this coming?
The question we all need to ask is what next. What are some other authors - a - maybe even better authors to read next now that he are not tied down by all the hype.

I enjoyed reading it but if JK Rowling was going to write about 19 years later I'd have liked more details on it, like was Teddy Lupin a werewolf or not?

I was a little upset that it didn't quite live up to my expectations, but it was a good series, and I'm glad I've read all the books.
Edit: Teddy isn't a werewolf. He's a metamorphagus like his mother. JK said in an interview.

I'm not gonna say that i agree with just so you give me a best answer because I really loved the book. The camping trip was interesting, the epilogue was great, we can see who has how many kids, and who is going out with whom. It was simply great!

I liked it. I didn't so much want to know what happened just one year later. I wanted to know what was going on in their lives when they became adults. I was happy with it.

I thought it was brilliant. She's said again and again that she wanted to end the series. Now, she can't write another one until 2016.

I did like it. I would have liked it if JK would have put more in the epilogue.
