I'm buying a laptop to play the sims 2 and maybe 2 of the expansion packs. This is the info on it. Will it run the game ok???

Yeah, you should not have a problem at all, between the processor, the video specs and 3GB of RAM, you should have a lot of fun...:)

Go to the Sims 2 website and check out the Recommended Systems Requirements. They will describe there what hardware and software you need to run their application.

You should buy a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092. I have one, and I love it. I would highly recommend it.

that machine looks like it was built from the ground up for gaming...so you should have no problem playing it.
