I have been here for a few months and I had NO clue people were doing this! Creating more than one account so they can star and answer their own questions! Isn't this cheating?

I know I have made several angry at me by posting this in many ways. But, some of these folks say they are Christians and this is NOT a Christlike thing to do....for merely points, on a site!

Have you noticed this too? Do you do this and if so, why?

Herman, I do not care if it gets me ousted! I do care that so many are willing to CHEAT for a few points! I understand children doing this but, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND adults doing this!

Yes, I did post this in the religious section as well! Especially, this section!
If you proclaim to be a Christian and then you show the world you are a cheater....it only persuades the atheists and others that perhaps, Christianity is a fake and to me....IT IS A WAY OF LIFE!

Oh, it is posted in education under word play too!

PK....ROFLOL! I love your answer!! No, I didn't but, from some of the things I have learned on here....there should be a section for them!

Make-it-right,

I have gone into my profile area just to see the questions asked by those I am connected too. I will click on their avatar and when I am taken to the question...it is an avatar and different names! Since this has happened, more times than I can count, I will say this.....Yahoo cannot keep up with these clones! That is a fact! You see, what if you have five people in your house? Each with his/her own yahoo identity? It would come from the same URL, right? So, I do not think they catch this easily as it could possibly be another member, of the same household, on the same computer! So, no, I think they DO not prove and catch the singular cheaters, due to this fact I just mentioned!

DLR,

Well, okay! Yes, I call myself a Christian! Because I am! As a Christian, we are to question such things! I did, you got angered and now you are removing me. That's okay.

Now, as for your personal information...I will assure you that I will never give that out. I am not like that! In fact, as soon as I finish this writing to you, I will do the same just to give you peace of mind.

Blessings!
Gail

Sheila,

I am a senior citizen! I am a Christian! Being both, I wanted to know the why too! I am not picking on anyone! You all are taking this and blowing it wayyyyy out of context!

I merely stated what I know to be truth! I am not going to name names! But, I could furnish a lot of facts pertaining to this topic! I will not though as they all know who they are!

Fact is, it is cheating and I merely wanted to bring attention to this! I will tell you that I did receive an e-mail a few weeks ago advising me to get several more aliases. Why? So that I could do what the other person wanted me to do! It was NOT the RIGHT thing to do as far as I am concerned! It is cheating and I want NO part of it!

GAIL

Wooley Booley,

You are such a wonderful person! I brought this "crap" here because I think everyone has the right to know that people are cheating. I did not just post this "crap" here! I posted it in three areas.

I will tell you this much, I am a Christian woman and I am a senior. I will say this one more time!

Telling the truth, in here, can get you a little roughed up! But, I am not fighting with you about this! No way! You want me to go away? It is NOT going to happen!

Oh, so that is what you meant by cloning in your "game" questions. I misunderstood, thinking that you thought that it may be wrong to answer any old questions, just for points, (which aren't worth anything anyway).
I just thought you were playing a Linguistic game, so I made a story using your given sentences. Guess you were playing a Mind game, instead, trying to entrap people? Shame on you, and you call yourself a Christian. I am removing you from my contacts. Hope you won't also cheat by telling others my real name and email address, that I shared with you.
No I do not clone. I did change my avatar's hair color though, but not to hide anything.

Who cares how many points you have. After you get to Level 2 and can star others, you really don't get much for having more points. I looked at the chart. I do like to HONESTLY get 10 points now and then though for best answer. I like to come to the Senior Citizens section because usually there are interesting posts and questions.

Yes this would be cheating. Who are you accusing? Wouldn't that take a lot of work? And for what answer your own questions? Why ask if you know the answer?Did you post this in Mental health? Multiple Personalities?

HUH? NOT CHRISTIAN? You have a very serious problem lady. First, who cares? Second, stay in the fantasy of Religion and Spirituality. Don't bring that crap here. What in the world are you thinking, everyone illegally earns money doing that? WHO CARES if they have a bunch of accounts.

Get a life.

Why are you picking on Christian and senior citizens? If people really do this I would think they do it in all of the sites. It does seem like it would be very time consuming. Why?

I did not know they could do this. Yahoo knows your names and you cannot clone your name on yahoo without yahoo knowing what name you use. If you use Yahoo answers, your profile will ask you for a name to use. Even if you change your name, your previous name will become your new name. So, if you know something I don't, please share. I hope Yahoo is detecting this if it is happening.

You are right about points. I care less about the points.

Thanks for info.

Cheat a little, cheat a lot. And how far would you trust one of these double dippers?

It seems to me like this would take up an awful lot of time. And I have more things to do with my time!

No. I never even thought about it. It's just points... it's not gold for pete's sake! Talk about competitive!
