The Bush family dynasty has intermingled with the Chinese dynasties since the days of Prescott Bush, our President's grandfather.
Thanks to such mingling, the Bush family got rich and the United States is now indebted to China to the tune of TRILLIONS of dollars.
China is an incredibly patient country, used to waiting generations for things to come their way.
I predict by 2050 (or sooner) the Chinese government will cut off America's "credit cards", leaving the U.S. in a hopeless economic depression. Just like Russia found itself without money to finance a military, the U.S.A. will be militarily impotent. China will then send its million-man army over here and take whatever it wants: weapons of mass destruction; oil; water; banks; real estate; coal; iron ore; military hardware; property - even our women if there's a strong demand for western flesh on the international sex-slave market. And China will become the superpower of the world while the U.S. goes the way of the great Greek and Roman empires. -RKO- 08/14/07

It's the Illuminati. Which is a front for the Freemasons. Who are in collusion with the Bilderberg Group. Who are merely puppets for the real power, the Girl Scouts. Don't believe me? Then how do you explain why millions of people pay five bucks a box for six ounces of stale cookies? Although the others could have a point, I need to start keeping a closer eye on you...

Nonsense.
Sure, they could dump the US debt they own, and start a worldwide financial crisis. Not exactly a good prospect for them, especially as they are export driven.
They need the USA to be their #1 customer. Without us, their economic expansion is over.
The US on the other hand can buy it's manufactured goods from any number of countries, with only a hiccup while we arrange new supply arrangements.
It's in the Chinese's best interests to keep the US in good shape.

yeah, pretty much. Just TRY to go to a store and buy something you need or want that ISN'T made in China. It's maddening. I'd rather pay more for American goods, if you could find someone still making anything in this country anymore.

american debt is def in a not so great place right now but to say that we're owned by the Chinese govt. is a stretch. One thing is for sure however, and that is that our two economies are truly tied together forever.

Labor unions, payroll taxes as well as other taxes and strict regulations all have caused manufacturers to have their products made overseas. U.S. can't compete with China manf.
Say you want to sell your product, a quilt. That quilt made in the U.S. will cost 5 times more and you won't be able to sell it. We priced ourselves out of the market.
I foresee it will only get worse unless we completely cut trade with China (a formidable enemy when not trading with them).
If we cut trade with China we cant have the little things we desire as much because even though we will all have jobs and make money, the goods will be expensive too.

No, they only own $1 Trillion of our debt. Your mortgage company does not own you, just the debt on your house. We are more than $9 Trillion in debt, so China only owns about 1/9 of our debt.

There's an old saying. If the bank lends you a thousand dollars, they own you; but if the bank lends you a million, then you own the bank.

China and UNESCO. China owns most of our standing timber. UNESCO owns most of our parks and national treasures. They are in charge of "biospheres" to "protect" our treasures. Why would we have the UN protect our property, aren't we able to do that ourselves?
