What if a electronic device with a button delivers some excitement? I never knew anyone who could be excited and mad or stressed at the same time.

If you're interested in this topic, you should read the Terminal Man by Michael Crichton. It's the story about a man who has a "pleasure" device implanted in his brain to counterbalance his angry and aggressive personality. The device is triggered when he becomes angry or aggressive, and it produces a pleasurable sensation that causes him to relax. Of course, the pleasurable sensation overwhelms the angry sensations and the anger goes away - at first. Unfortunately, because of human conditioning, his mind relates the anger and agression with the pleasurable sensation that comes after it. The result, an extermely violent and angry person who recieves pleasure from every agressive act.

It's a good sci-fi book that follows this suggestion through to one possible conclusion.

Well, I guess that would work for someone who finds electronic devices with buttons more exciting than they are mad. I don't think a button would stop me when I am angry.

That would be nice. I would invest in such a device, if you can find a mechanism to make your theory work.
