Hydrogen peroxide is in a 2 or 3 percent (U.S.P.) solution. It is the ultimate biocide in pure form. It would completely dissolve you in short order.
Iodine could actually kill some that was allergic to it. Many people are.
Use the peroxide, unless the wound is really bad, then see a doctor.
Cat scratch fever, on the other hand...I think a shot works sometimes, but nowadays, ya never know.
A snort or two of whiskey never hurt nobody.

Peroxide definitely. I once had about seven layers of skin scraped off my leg from falling off my bike and I used Peroxide to treat it. It works good without burning.

I have a scar on my back because Iodine was used...and it burned like hell. Use the peroxide
