The opposite of a shallow person. Someone who considers things deeply and their consequences on other people. Shallow people just flitter around and don't ever think about other peoples feelings. Deep people are sensitive and don't just think about the first implications, but consider how it reacts with our core beliefs.

to be a deep person is to feel things deeply. For example, this is why a lot of artists and other creatives are seen as deep. I am an artist and when i hear about things that happen around the world, it is quite common that i cry, feel sick to my stomach, even vomit, and get deeply depressed even to the point sometimes where i can't paint or be brougth out of it for weeks. Just this morning I heard a terrible story and I feel like I'm going into this again. It's a gift because you can see things from a person's perspective and feel what they are feeling, but it's a curse because of the above. It's hard to shake. But another big factor is the fact that you want to learn more and feel more about everything no matter how much it affects you.

You see things underneath the surface whether a person a place a situation you feel, think comprehend analyze in a certain way a situation that people would not even think upon because it is deeply felt then other thoughts or emotions could be. It is not just about caring you get to the foundation or sometimes beginning of something...........

I think we can all become deep if we train out brains to be in mindfulness we can all achieve this but sometimes people would rather not its a choice really I think :)))

I would say being a deep person is similar to someone who is able to remember dreams. Mostly we forget our dreams as if they don't exist, but the subconscious is a whole world that we live in as well as the surface world. So someone who sees more than just the surface world has depth to him (or her). Anything significant that happens and makes us think makes us deeper people because we know there are real questions in life that are not so easily answered. Thus we are aware that there is more to things than meets the eye.

A person who thinks deeply goes beyond, and above basic understanding of certain circumstances all the while cultivating, his or her out look with a large amount of sympathy for those in the circumstances.
By being more specific and eliminating unnecessary details you can go from being ordinary to deep.

the different is shallow, somebody who in basic terms bargains on the exterior, and does not get to the heart of the concern. A deep individual has intensity, and consequently extra to them than in basic terms their floor.
