You are doing a fine job. One thing you might want to consider, though, is adding a bit of variety with the food you give your betta. Maybe give him 3 pellets in the morning and then a bit of frozen bloodworm in the evening. Any kind of meaty food is good for bettas (frozen bloodworms, frozen daphnia, frozen brine shrimp, live brine shrimp, freeze dried brine shrimp, freeze dried bloodworms, live mosquito larvae, etc etc etc). Skipping a day of feeding is really good for your fish's digestive system.

That's fine. Everyone has their own way of feeding their fish. I feed my fish once a day,l what they'll eat in a few minutes, and skip a day during the week. I know a lot of betta owners that only feed a few pellets a day, so sounds ok what you're doing.

Good Job! Thats the exact amount you must feed them. Thats as many i feed my Bettas. But if you feed it oh say 6 in the mornings than you dont have to feed it in the night! But thats only on rare acacions dont make it a habbit or your fish will die.

with bettas feed them 3 pellets once every other day .. you can even skip 2 days if you like... the better the water quality the better the life of the fish

Yes, the way you are feeding them is O.K. You could go to 1 time a day, anymore than you are doing would be overfeeding. It also probably depends on its habitat. If its in a community tank it might eat more because its more active.

my betta fish has lived for more than 4 moths already, and i kind of feed it irregularly. i skip about 3 days during the week, and hte days that i do feed mine, i just put in however many pellets i feel like putting in. someitmes it's about 30, but he only eats 5.

but yes, you have a great way of feeding htem. That is hte way that is required to feed them.

That's perfect
What you can do is change up their diet with frozen blood worms or frozen brine shrimp as well, but don't overfeed them

Hope that helps
Good luck
