Depends on if the question is an important one. If I think I am going to get a lot of responses or is a pondering question I say No..If I am asking for legal stuff, or something that requires an expert to answer then yes.

Yes, because it helps to understand the way some people like to answer. Like whether or not they are in agreement or are biased in some way, or just plain don't like your question. I like to know, so being notified of their answers is a plus.

Yes, but it would be nice if we were offered some sort of 'Y!A inbox' that we could nav to, instead of getting our regular inbox clutterred/jammed.

yeah, I like answer notifications, but I had the option to have questions emailed to me, that was a pain in the @ss!!
