I'm trying out for a movie and need some advice. I'm fourteen and this will be the first movie I ever starred in if I make it. Does anyone know any tips that are good before auditions. Breathing excersices to help projection and stuff like that. Anything that would help with my auditions would be great. Thanks for taking your time.

The main thing is, stay CALM. I know it's hard, but if you lose your cool, disaster is certain to come. Make sure you know your lines, because the people hiring you will know if you've practiced or not. Speak clearly, enunciate your words, and project them; also get into character, imagine as if you were in the movie. Remember your manners, be kind and courteous, and be ready for rejection. If you aren't, it will only be more disappointing if you don't get the part.

Even if you don't get the part, remember my life philosophies:
1. If you fall down, always get up.
2. Get over it.
3. Try until you cannot possibly try again.

Good luck to you, and I hope this helps.

Wait a minute! How did you get a chance to star in a move and you don't know how to audition? You could be the target of a scam! I really want to help you. Please click on my name and read my profile and write to me at my aol address and tell me how you got the audition and the company that is running the audition.
