Do you empty out your pockets before loading your clothes into the washer/dryer?

Or do you search around the items for the spare change causing all that noise. I usually have to clean the torn apart kleenex out of the dryer. What is the something thing you have ever washed/and dried and regretted? For me one time I washed and dried my husbands paycheck. After that he had them all direct deposited.

I never put anything in my pockets anymore... don't really know why. But, I washed my own paycheck once... that really sucked.

My husband doesnt empty his pockets either, at first it was really irritating, then I found my first $20. After that I happily check pockets, any money I find I keep, I call it my payment for doing the chore. I have a whole jar of rainy day fundage just from the laundry, and you better believe Im not spending it on him!

I always check my pockets now, the last time I didn't, I ended up washing my husband's wallet, we were able to save the cards and money, but the wallet itself was ruined

I use to not check my pockets before washing them, until one day I washed my cell phone....now I make it a habit to know where my cell phone is before I do laundry.

Yes, I always check the pockets, but on occasion some things slip by me, but thank goodness it hasn't been something as important as the hubby's pay check..lol...:)

I do because one time I did my boyfriend's laundry and he left a pen in his pocket and the pen leaked ink all over our clothes.

my cell phone went through the washer & got a lil spin on accident. haha the lense of the camera is screwed up, but it works fine :]

Receipt from store: Every time that happens whatever it is I bought I have to take back because it doesn't work. Never fails.
