Do anyone knw the law in Louisiana about what age a female can leave home, I've been hearing 17? Is that true

Well I do know that you are not legal until 18..
You are not able to rent and apartment, get utilities,etc.
You can not sign any contract until 18....
Your parents are responsible for you until you turn 18.
