Just my humble opinion. . .
I've found that grown men tend to be more in control of their anger than women are. They learned to modulate their anger on the playground as children, where an uncontrolled outburst often led to a beating by playmates. Women typically grew up in a different playground, where tensions were not as high, and when outbursts did occur, they were not punished as decisively.
The result is that women will typically lose their cool under much less stress than a man will. This can be dangerous to women, when they don't realize that losing your cool might be what it takes to make your man lose his cool, and he can be a very dangerous animal when that happens.
Ladies, if you can't get a grip on your anger, stay away from your man until you can. You REALLY don't want him to lose his grip on his anger.
That being said, I think men tend to "vent" more quickly than women. Given a minor annoyance, men may often display more anger than they feel; sort of a warning behavior. Don't be alarmed. It's like a barking dog. He's not really mad until he gets quiet.

Men in general are more aggressive than women, but women hold anger longer, like holding a grudge.
