Absolutely, YES. I wish he was running.

I would, but it will never happen. Newt is brilliant, but he's also damaged goods and is just simply not electable at this point.

I could see him being a great selection as a V-P candidate, which could change the entire situation down the line...assuming the GOP ticket won, of course. V-P's of popular presidents do tend to win in subsequent elections.

No not really a fan or supporter of Newt since his days in Congress and his commentary on political events lately. Seems he is a fan of Hillary for some reason.

Yes. If he runs he would be the only legitimate historian/intellectual in the field.

He won't run though.
He was responsible for the Democrats victory in 2006. He instructed the Neo-Cons to withdraw support for Bush and sit this one out.
He correctly predicted that, with enough rope, the Democratic party would promptly hang itself in congress and they did not disappoint.
He may enter the race only to affect the debate and force a serious discussion of the issues instead of this repetitive nonsense scripted by the likes of Wolf Blitzer and Brit Hume.
Once he makes the Republican candidates firm up their positions, he will drop out and endorse his choice for the convention.
I'm betting it's Romney but, who knows?

Never. To the guy above, I guess a real conservative is one that has an affair while throwing affair accusations at another. True Conservative = Hypocrite.

Absolutely. Contrary to the fairy tales on the left it was Newt that balanced the budget. The country's screaming for a real conservative. Something we haven't had in over a decade.
