I wouldn't say "punish" the kids with good music, but I would make them listen to the CD, (as well as Madonna's... LOL) so they can have something of an appreciation for it.

I actually liked all the Eagles hits -- the first 900 times I heard them.
Now, the opening riff of "Hotel California" makes me dive for the radio.
