Yes, what he did, or what he didn't do is horrible...no question about that...I'm just saying, freaking everybody out of nowhere are begging the NFL to suspend this guy. He hasn't even been proved guilty yet.

It is the multiplying effect of the media. It builds up in public sentiment. First Bonds, Tank Johnson, then is seems like the entire Bengals team was on the run, then Pac-man. M Vick has caught the backlash and maybe unfairly, becuase he was not arrested on the Property choking a dog or had guns or started fights or lied to a grand jury, like those other guys did.

The question should be, why are the co-defendents turning on Vick? HMMMMMMMMMMM??(because he is guilty of something) If the Gov't now has 4-6 people to testify against Vick, that is not a good sign. Thus the reason people are jumping on.
There is a thing called public opinion. The evidence that has been brought to light is not favorable for Vick, so people are entitled to there comments. He is not in jail, yet, so all you Vick supporters need to relax.
Vick is an idiot, he was involved one way or another. Hopefully a court will confirm this and lock him up until he is 40 (just when his career would be over) and hopefully come out penniless.

This is America, the land of the free and home of the brave. Innocent until proven guilty...or wait Guilty until proven innocent! Especially when you have an over zealous Federal Government prosocuting the case and it's a high profile name. I.E.- Michael Vick.
Let me say this before I go any further. If Michael Vick is guilty of everything he is charged with, yes throw him under the prison, give him the maximum sentence that offense will allow!! And then some!!!
Now with that said, Yesterday the Prosocutors offered Michael Vick a Plea Bargain Agreement of 2 years probation and a $10,000 fine. If they had "hard" evidence that Mike was guilty of all the charges that he is facing, wouldn't the prosecutors want this case to go to court, so they can present their "hard" evidence? I've read people on here are saying, "The government is doing this to save time and money" Now let me ask you this, When in the HE double hockey sticks has the United States Government wanted to save us(the tax payers) and money!!??
Now, to answer your original question, people are quick to jump on Vick's case because, 1 Americans are jealous! 130 Million dollars jealous, and that's a lot of jealousy! and 2 he's a big name. If this was Harry Balsak from Alabama, nobody would even know about this, or even care!! The county sheriff and county judge would have this case resolved in a matter of an hour. Heck, Judge Judy could handle this one! :)

tonydgr8 - no the FEDS would offer a sweetheart deal to Vick because he's black. They have to appear nice to keep Atlanta from being burned to the ground! (Again!). If he was a white guy, rest assured that they wouldn't even offer a plea bargain on this one. His deal will probably mean that he has to roll over on the corrupt local officials that he has been paying off for years. They are as guilty as he is, for turning a blind eye to Vick's criminal empire there in Surry county.

I actually think people were willing to give him the benefits of the doubt at first. When the he first rented out was raided most people were quick to point out that he probably didn't know what was going on at a place he was renting out because he didn't live there. However, as more evidence piled on, more facts came into light, and defendants turned on him more people began to turn on him

People, for the most part, were supporting him in the beginning. But as time went on and more evidence came into light, that's when people started turning against him.

because what he was doing has been known in Atlanta for a long time. He has had those fights on his property for years and has got away with it up until now. the NFL has been embarrassed a lot lately and they have had enough. this is far worse for their image than what Pac man jones or Tank did. And people just go apesht over the mistreatment of animals.

I agree. But if they can prove he did that i believe they should toss him out of the league for good. If he cant be proven then obviously let him play. I dont care for people who do that crap becuase it says everything about who they are. Im not saying he did it but if he gets convicted then i would be in favor of him being tossed out of the league for a long while or permanently.

The evidence seems to be overwhelming.

You know what though it does make you wonder when you read the yahoo sports story, about how one player killed someone with driving under the influence and they let him back in the league and then he drove under the influence again. His crime is far worse than Vick's but people don't seem to voice any concern about that.

Every company has a employment policy that is pretty much don't embarrass us or we will get rid of you. They fact that he was charged would be enough. They wouldn't wait around to see if you were convicted. He is lucky the salary cap hit would be huge or I bet they would cut him.
