This is another marginal year for CD sales and the industry needs the Eagles to do fantastic - since the band is a dominate sound on classic rock formats - the first week - 875,121 units out the door.

Hey hey hey, no need to bring rap down like that. Eagles are good and I'm sure they'll sell a lot. Kanye is very into himself and a bit snobby, while p diddy cant rap or sing.

There are a whole lot more baby boomers who know the Eagles. Before you know it the baby boomers will be controlling everything you see and hear. You already see it on TV, most ads have music forn the 60's and 70's.. We're here and we're strong!!!!

Who hasn't heard of "Hotel California", "Take It Easy", or "Life In The Fast Lane"??? Their music crosses a lot of demographic lines. They'll blow your mind live...no effects or stuff like that - just 3 amazing hours of music. There's a lot of buzz on this...I'd say it'll go Platinum, easy, within a few short days of when it drops. ;-)

It hasn't been 20 years since "Hell Freezes Over" - it was released in 1994.
Probably sell a good bit - most of their fans probably don't have iPods.
