Ok, I went to hot topic school clothes shopping. I found a Guns N Roses shirt, but Slash had a cigarette and the school won't allow it, then I found another one, but this one had guns on it, but its GNR what can you say, the Guns weren't really shooting anything it said Gusn N Roses then had two guns with Roses wrapped around them, I was just wondering if anybody else thinks its stupid? Serious answers please.

The way I look at it, its GNR, their shirts are gonna have guns and Slash ALWAYS has a cigarette hanging out. Stupid or Not?

G N' R rules, I'm glad to see people still listen to them, the old stuff of course not after everyone left and they got all those tards as replacements.

I would just wear it and see if they catch it.
I had a buddy who had strict parents and he had a G N'R shirt in like 6th grade he would change and wear it at our school. Is it a public school? Just wondering.

Even if the school doesn't allow it you can always wear it on your own time as well as weekends and summer.

Yeah, that’s pretty ridiculous. That’s why I’m a High School English teacher at a private school that was started 17 years ago by people who thought stuff like this wasn’t important enough to squabble about.

That’s the problem with public schools. They’re trying to turn out robots who think and act the same. That’s why they are failing.

Rock the boat!!!!

That's the way school is, they have crap rules that you have to abide by while you're there... It's just another reason to hurry and get out of there, cause they don't give a crap in college. If you want a GNR shirt without guns or cigs, you are probably gonna have to make it yourself ;) Schools are way too up tight about dress codes, if they would spend as much time teaching as they spent sending kids to the office for dress codes, our students wouldn't be as far behind as they are.

seriously who gives a dam if your school allows it or not. if you really love and support gnr, buy the shirt. you dont necessarily have to wear the shirt to school, unless your trying to create some image, which is NOT truly loving the bands. your choice. i would just buy the shirt and wear it to a concert or something instead of wearing it to school and creating some useless controversy between the school board and 'freedom of speech' rights

thats dumb.
thats how my school is
But i always go against the rules even if i pay a price for it later.
I think the school system should let us wear what WE wanna wear and let us have our hair how we want it.
And let us have piercings and stuff.
BUT NO the school has to be to strict and stupid about it.
ugh, My advice kid. Get the shirt and wear it. If they say "take it off" Go "No, its a shirt I choose to wear and you cant make me take it off. and just sit down and start doin work!"
:]
Okay?!

It is pretty stupid. You should be able to wear whatever you want. If they want to avoid cigarrettes and violence, maybe they should talk to the kids about it.

Yeah - I think it is a bit overboard, but it only takes one jerk to ruin it for everyone.
