do NOT use a pressure washer, if you have a lot of stains , the oil and tranny fluid have already eaten the asphalt, I would reccommend re sealing the driveway

There is actually something you can purchase called Pour-N-Restore and it works really well but not on asphalt. What is your driveway made of? If you have asphalt try to first use the heavy duty dish detergent you can buy at your local grocery store. Put it on the spot and wait about an hour, use a strong hose or power washer to rinse it away, if there is still some oil, try Murphy's Oil Soap and clean it the same way.

If Popular Mechanic has a website, check it. They have ads for this stuff that you pour on your driveway and after it dries you just sweep it up and the stains are gone. I can't remember the name of the stuff but I have used it before and it works just like they say leaving no stains.

I use Tide soap and a scrub brush with a garden hose. If you have a pressure washer, you might try that. Good luck.
